This client approached Method Industrial Design to assist them in developing two new components to their current drone architecture. The drone's front "mask" as well as the hull pieces were redesigned to give the drone its distinctive new style as well as improve on the functionality of the components by making them stronger overall to with stand crashes and interference.
3D CAD modeling for prototype testing and asethetic form evaluation
Design for manufacturing was implemented on the various components to allow for the new parts to be injection molded and used in conjection with existing frame components
Conceptual artwork and form development explored various options for the look and feel of the drones componets and the product overall
3D models were used to render out photorealistic images for use at tradeshows and marketing & product pitch decks
